Nic arrived in China in 1994. As an early foreigner in China, he has been involved in multiple new ventures, his most notable endeavour developed into being the leading flower business in China. He enjoys mentoring other entrepreneurs.
In 2014, he was elected Best Dutch Entrepreneur by Cathay Pacific. He is an active member in the global Entrepreneurs Organisation network and the Sustainability Chair.
Nic is fluent in Chinese. In order to managing PureTerra, Nic and his family will move back to the Netherlands Summer 2020.
