The World Water-Tech North America 2019 was held in Los Angeles from October 29-30, 2019. The summit was where 250+ international water utilities, municipalities and industrial end-users meet. The summit facilitated water leaders to find solutions to the challenges of the water sector such as asset optimization, digitization, leakage, energy, and reuse. Moreover, the summit focused on “Driving the Efficiency & Resiliency in Water and Wastewater Systems”.

The recently held summit in Los Angeles brought a great opportunity for participants to learn from and connect with leading technology providers, engineering giants and investors from across the region and worldwide. The Director of Investments of PureTerra Ventures, Maarten ter Keurst joined the panel discussion – Deals of the Year 2019: Investor Debate – that concluded the summit. For this panel, Maarten ter Keurst joined leading global investors from the UK Department for International Trade, Mission Driven Ventures Capital, Cimbria Capital, Allianz Global Investors, and Mazarine Ventures. During the panel, five global investors discussed the hottest deals of 2018/2019 in the water sector and shared fresh insights into the most exciting investment opportunities and challenges that may emerge over the coming year.
